Private on this device: Imported images are saved in this browser’s local IndexedDB storage, never uploaded by this app. Other visitors to your website get an empty book. This copy does not automatically sync with another device.

Backups contain original image files, page order, and book title. Keep one somewhere safe; clearing browser/site data may delete local pages.

Install Captain’s Book

On Android in Chrome, open the ⋮ browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. Launch Captain’s Book from its icon afterward.

This needs HTTPS and a first online visit. Your PNGs will stay local after installation; the reader also works offline once the app files have been cached.
